About PSJ

 The Palaeontological Society of Japan was established since 1935 to encourage the progress and advertisement of paleontology and allied sciences. The society has been continuing to play the important role for the paleontological researches with aids of society members in abroad and in Japan since then. The Society has more than 1,100 members and encourage the highest standards of professional competence in the practice of paleontology. Membership is open to all who are interested in the paleontological sciences. The Society holds a conferences in a different part of Japan twice a year, presents various awards, and publishes international journal "Paleontological Research" every three months and domestic journal "Kasaki (Fossils)" every six months.
